Happened to come across the following free online workshop for next week entitled “The Interesting Lives of Some Chalkstream Fishes“. Chalk rivers are a globally rare and endangered habitat providing clear water and supporting a diverse flora and fauna such a wild trout. The workshop to be held on the 16th June from 10 to 11:30 am aims to teach participants about the life cycle, identification and fun facts about fish species in your local chalkstreams. Unfortunately I am supposed to be in a work meeting at that time … time for a creative excuse!
