I have fished the llyns/lakes of Aberystwyth Angling Association every Easter when we holiday in the area. There are a good variety of fishing options ranging from llyns/lakes stocked with rainbow and blue trout to wild brown trout fisheries that are seldom visited. Many of the llyns/lakes are easily accessible with parking right at the bank but others require a short but not difficult walk. The permits are reasonably priced and they offer a junior ticket for kids which is a very good option.

Hopefully these provide you with information that will allow you plan for a visit to and to be more successful when fishing there. I will add to these as I fish the other lakes, however, our visit last year at Easter was cancelled owing to COVID and it looks like this year will be similarly affected.
